Operations & project support for purpose-driven teams

Clearer operations. More space for what matters.

I'm a virtual assistant for small teams with a purpose, like retreat centers, wellbeing communities, small schools and nonprofits. I take over the day-to-day, so you can focus on your people and the decisions that matter.

I don't just take tasks off your plate. I notice what's stuck, suggest a better way, and make sure we agree before anything changes.

Free 30-minute call. We talk and see if it fits. Opens my calendar in a new tab.

Based in Argentina (GMT-3). I work in English and Spanish. Remote, with clients across time zones.

Does this sound familiar?

It's not hard work. There's just a lot of it.

Small teams with a purpose are often just two or three people doing everything. No single task is complicated, but together they take the time you'd rather give to the people you serve.

I bring structure, follow-through and a second pair of eyes, so your team can grow without the scramble.

Your inbox and calendar decide how your day goes.

What I doI take over your inbox, calendar and scheduling, so you start the day with a plan.

Dates, bookings, volunteers and follow-ups live in five different places.

What I doI bring them into one clear system, with owners and dates, and keep it up to date.

How things get done lives in people's heads, so every handover starts from zero.

What I doI document the process with the people who do the work, and we agree on it before it's written down.

You'd like to delegate, but explaining it feels like one more task.

What I doTell me roughly what you need. I ask the questions, work out the steps and show you the plan before I start.

What changes when we work together

  • Someone on your side

I work as part of your team, not as a name in a ticket queue. I learn how you work and notice what needs attention before it becomes urgent.

  • Someone who thinks it through

I don't just carry out tasks. When something is stuck, I look for a better way, explain why, and we decide together before anything changes.

  • A calmer pace

Clear priorities, written agreements and a steady rhythm, so the work moves forward without constant emergencies. Calm doesn't mean slow: when a real emergency comes up, I move fast. I do what's needed.

Ways to work together

Part of your team

A monthly retainer with a steady number of hours each week. I get to know your work, take things off your plate and suggest improvements as we go.

On demand

Hourly, for a busy season, an event or a backlog that needs extra hands.

A project

A defined piece of work, like setting up your SOPs and documentation, or mapping a workflow before automating it.

We choose what fits on the call.

AI-assisted work

I use AI for research, drafts and documentation, and I'm learning to automate workflows. Automation works best once the process is well understood and the SOPs are documented. People still make the decisions.

How we work together

From a first call to steady support

Six simple steps. You always know what happens next.

Before we start

  • Pick a time

Choose a slot in my calendar that works for you.

  • We talk

We get to know each other. You tell me what you need, and I tell you how I work.

  • We decide together

If it feels like a fit, we talk about how to start. If not, no pressure.

Getting started

  • First, I learn how you work

Before changing anything, I look at how things work today: your tools, your tasks and where they get stuck.

  • We agree on a first step

We choose one or two things to start with, decide how we'll work (a monthly retainer, hourly or by project) and how we'll stay in touch.

Working together

  • I take care of it, and tell you what I notice

I take care of the work and keep you posted on what's moving, what's stuck and what I notice. Every so often we check in together on how it's going.

Bring one or two things you'd like off your plate. That's enough to get started.

Who it's for

For small teams doing work that matters

Retreat centers and yoga, meditation and wellbeing studios that run with a small team.

Communities, nonprofits and volunteer groups that need steady support behind the scenes.

Small schools and education programs, like language courses, that are growing faster than their systems.

Independent professionals and founders with one or two collaborators who want someone dependable to lean on.

Probably not the right fit if you need everything done "yesterday," if your work runs on constant urgency, or if you only need someone to follow instructions without questions.

About me

The work behind the work shouldn't take over your days.

If you run a retreat, a studio, a school or a nonprofit, you probably do a bit of everything: the inbox, the bookings, the follow-ups. None of it is hard, but it takes the time you'd rather give to the people you serve.

I'm Ana, and I take that on. I studied social communication and have spent years in NGOs, agencies and hospitality, in different countries. It taught me that most operational problems are really communication problems: a message nobody answered, a process that only lives in one person's head. So I turn scattered tasks into calm, clear operations, and you always know what's happening and what comes next.

I have more than 9 years of experience in office and coordination roles, from the front line to leading teams of up to 30 people. Traveling and working from different places taught me to adapt fast, and it changed how I see the way we work and spend our days. That's why I created byAnaLaura: I wanted to work without living in a rush, and to help others do the same.

Yoga and meditation keep me steady when things get busy, and that's what I bring to your team: a calm head, clear words and follow-through. When I'm not working, you'll find me walking on the beach or reading something offline, with a cup of yerba mate (our Argentine tea) close by.

FAQ

Questions you might have

Do you only do what I ask?

I do what we agree on, but I don't stop there: if I see something that could work better, we talk about it.

What if I only need help with one thing?

That's a good place to start. We can begin on demand, by the hour, and move to a monthly retainer if it makes sense.

Where are you based, and which languages do you work in?

I'm based in Argentina (GMT-3) and work remotely with clients across time zones. I work in English and Spanish: emails, documents and calls in either.

Which tools do you use?

Notion, Trello, Asana, ClickUp, Slack, Google Workspace, Canva and Microsoft Office. If your team uses something else, I pick up new tools quickly.

Do you use AI?

Yes, for research, drafts and documentation, and I'm learning to automate tasks and workflows. I like to understand the process first and document it, then automate what repeats. People make the decisions.

Is my information kept confidential?

Client data is confidential. I don't share client information, and any example I show uses fictional data.

How much does it cost, and how do we work together?

It depends on the scope and how many hours you need. I work on a monthly retainer, hourly, or per project, and we agree on it on the call, before anything starts.

What would you do with a few more hours a week?

Book a free call. We'll talk about what's taking your time and see if I'm the right fit. No pressure.
